The Village of Reeseville intends to undertake street improvements on Jackson Street, from Main Street to the Village limits during the summer/fall of 2022. These street improvements will consist of removing the existing asphalt pavement, road base, curb & gutter, and driveway approaches. New aggregate road base will then be installed along with 8 inches of new concrete pavement. The section of Jackson from Main Street to the box culvert will also have new curb & gutter and driveway approaches installed as well. The section of Jackson Street from the box culvert east to the Village limits, will have gravel shoulders installed in lieu of curb & gutter. The existing box culvert will be repaired and extended on each end. There will also be new guardrail installed over the box culvert.
Therefore, the Village of Reeseville would like to hold a public informational meeting for the project on Wednesday, June 22nd at 6 p.m. at Village Hall. Additional information will be provided at this meeting regarding the project and questions from the public can be answered as well.
The contractor for this project is LaLonde Contractors, Inc. of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Based upon their proposed construction schedule, they intend on beginning construction work the week of June 27th and intend on having the project completed by the end of October.
